Der «rbetter LH. »ne sür da« Jahr 1893 von dem Pächter R de« dem Bensen Kännrritz ge- dörigen Rittergut« Lossa bei Wurzen ol« Drescher aemielt:»» »oeden. Ein Ldeil seine« Lodne« wurde Ld. in Form freier Wohn»»!, tür ihn, seine Familie, bestehend au« Frau und 4 Kindern im Alter von 1 bi« 10 Jahre» uud ieiuer Schwiegermutter, der veno. P., im sogen. Drescherbaufr, da« R. und nicht zum Rittergut Lossa gehört, gewährt. Später gestattet« R. auch noch, daß »ine Tochter der P. ausgenommen wurde, und al« diese starb, blieb ihr >tud bei der Großmutter, der veno. P., in Pflege. Im Juli d. I«. weigerte sich di« Ehefrau de« Th-, den Lnordnuugeu de« Inspektor« und Hofmeister« nachzukommen, »ad kümmerte sich auch nicht um dir Wellungen R.'«, so daß dieser ihr »ad ihrem Mann zum 1. August den Dienst ausküvdigte. Am 1. August wie« R. innen Verwalter an, wenn Th. sich trotz der Kündigung zur Arbeit einstellen sollte, ihn zu beschäftigen. Th. kam aber nickt uud ha« auch seit jenem Lage nicht wieder auf dem Rittergut» Lossa gearbeitet. Er weigert» sich aber auch, trotz mehrmaliger Aufforderung R.'S, aut dem Drescherhaus» aaszuzietz»», so da« schllesilich R. «egen Th. Klage aas Räumung a»>treagen mußte. Am lsi Seviemver wurde in dieser Klag,ach« Termin vor dem Amtsgericht in Wurzen ad- gehalten, LH. erschien zu demselben nicht und wurde verurtheilt, da« Hau« za räumen. Da aus Aiitrag de« Pachter« R. da«Urtheil für vorläufig vollstreckbar erklärt worden war, erschien am folgenden Tag« der Benchttdienergehilse Pl. in der Th.'icheo Wohnung und setzte die Möbel in «in vor dem Hause an der Landstraße befind- lichc« Gärtchen. Bon der Exmission hatte vorschristtgemätz Pl. den Gemeindevorsiand in Kenntnis gesetzt. Auch R. hatte di» Lh.'iche Familie daraus hiagrwiejra, daß sie sich wegea Beschaffung eine« Unterkommen« mit dem Gemeindevorsiand in Verbindung setzen solle. Die« wurde jedoch nicht geldan, die Familie nächtigt» im Garten aus ihren Belten. In der Rächt zum 17. Sep tember war gute« warme« Wetter. Am Vormittag de« 17. kam Gras Könaeritz, ol« er zur Kirche nach Rischwitz wollte, am Satten vorüber, uud da er von der Autjetzuug nicht» wußte, fragte er, ivaS denn mit den Sachen werden soll», worauf er von den Leuten zur Antwort bekam, dir Sachen sollten im Lause de« Nachmittag« nach Leipzig geschafft werden. In der Thal ist auch die verehelichte LH. mit einem Kind» nach Holzhaus»» aeiadren, wo eia« Verwandte wohnt, zu welcher sie ziehen wollte. Nachmittag« stieg »in Gewitter aus, und R. jagte daher zur verw. P., sw könnte», falls es regne, in einem leeren Schuppen Unterkommen finden. Dir Autgesetzten sind aber trotz diese« Angebot« im Garten geblieben, obgleich e« regnet». Am Morgen de« 18. September machte dann R. dem Grasen Könneritz, der bi« dahin von der ganzen Lache nicht« wußte, und der auch mit derselben gar uicht« zn schassen holte, Mltlhcilung von dem Verhalten der Leute, und e« haben denn auch dieselben idie vrrehelicht« Th. war inzwischen vou Holzhausea zurackgekehrt) Sie folgend« Nacht zum IS. September in dem erwähnten Schuppe» zugebracht. Später ist die verehelichte Th. mit ihrem Manne nach Holzhaus«» gezogen, di« verw. P. wurde mit dem Kind«, ihrer Enkelin, im Gemeindehaus« zu Lossa untergedracht. Der im Vorstehenden mitgethetlkr Vorgang veranlaßte nun den am 10. Mai 18ül in Reuburg gehören»», zul.tzl in Wurzen wohn- hasten Rrdocteur Max August Diehl, ia der unter seiner verant- wortlichen Leitung damai» erscheinenden „Wurzener Zeitung" in Ar. 113 und 114 vom 20. dez. 22. September zwei selbstver- saßte Artikel zu veröficatlichen, die ihr» Spitze nicht gegen R„ sondern gegen den Grasen KSiineritz richteten uud schwere Be leidigungen de« Letzteren enthielten. Graf Könaeritz sandte hieraus dem socialislijchen Blatte «in» Berichtigung, die von der „Wurzener Zeitung" in der Nr. 11b vom 24. September auch adge- oruckt wurde, aber mit einer Bemerkung, welche wiederum eine Beleidigung de« Grasen Könaeritz enthielt. Dieser stellte gegen Diehl Strasantrag, und e« fand am 30. Lciodcr vor den, Schöffengericht in Wurzen Termin statt. In diesem be kannte sich Diehl ol« Bersasser der t» Frage koniinendcn Anikel und erklärte, er habe sie aus Grund von Informationen geschrieben, die er sich am 18. September persönlich bei den TH.'Ichen Eheleuten ringeholt habe. Bon einer Besragung R.'S und de« Gemeinde« Vorstand« habe er abgesehen, weil er al« socialiitischer Redocreur von diesen wohl doch ohne Antwort adgewiejen worden wäre. Die Absicht, den Graten von Könaeritz zu beleidigen, habe chm durchaus fern gelegen, er habe nur darlhun wollen, daß auch »ia so hoch- gestellter und vielvermügender Mann, wie Gras KönnenA, der heutigen GejelljchastSordaung niochtlo« gegenüderstehe, daß diese daher wertd sei. dem Umsturz zu verfallen. Der Gerichtshof erachtete indessen den Thatdestaud der Beleidigung nach«. I8L des Reichsskras. gesetzduch« durch di« Beweisaufnahme sür gegeben und veruriheilte de» Angeklagten unter Berücksichtigung der Schwer« der Beleidigungen, der hohen Stellung de« Beleidigten und der Vorstrafen de« Angeklagten zu zwei Monaten Gesäiigiitß, sprach auch dem Beleidigten die Beiugniß zu. binnen 14 Lagen nach einaetreteaer Rechtskraft de« Urcheil» den verfügenden Thcil desselben aus Kosten de« Angeklagten in der „Wurzener Zeitung" einmal zum Abdruck zu bringen. Außer dem wurde bestimmt, daß den. Beleidigten ein« Buösertigung de« Uttheil« zu ettheilen sei. Die Beleidigung wurde in der Form der incriminirten Artikel gesunden. Wenn in denselben sämmlliche Titel und Würden de« Grasen Könneritz zwei Mal ausgesühtt seien, so sei die« vom Angeklagten augenscheinlich nur ia der Abncht ge schehen, um den Boriall ia um so grellere« Licht zu setzen. Gegen diese» Urtheil hatten sowohl der Amtöanwall, wie auch der Angeklagte Diehl, der, nachdem die.Wurzener Zeitung" in Eoncur« ver,allen ist, als Redacteur bei der an ihrer Stell» gegründeten „Neuen Wurzener Zeitung" fungirt, Berusung eingelegt, die heut« vor der Strafkammer V. de« kgl. Landgericht« zur Verhandlung kam Der Gerichtshof dielt zwei Beleidigungen nach - I8Ü de« Reichtstrasgeirfbuch« sür gegeben, veruriheilte deswegen Diehl zu je L Wochen Gesmigoiß und erkannt» unter Verwerfung der beider- festigen Berufungen wie da« Schöffengericht in Wurzen aus rin» Gesammlstt-se vou 2 Mooatea Gesüngniß. Jagd un- Sport. Lieutenant von Beltheim (3. Hui.) absokvitt« dieser Tag» riaeo vom Regiment vorgelchriebeaen Dtstaazrttt. Er ritt am Sonnabend früh 4 Uhr 4S Miauten von Rathenow ab über Priesen, Nauru. Spandau und langte um 1 Uhr 1b Minuten Mittag« in Berlin, Lützower Tattersall, Seathinerstraßr, an. Dort mach!» Lieutenant von Veltheim zwei Stunden Rast, ritt sodann um 3 Uhr lb Minuten wieder vou Berti» ob und langte aus dem selben Weg» zurück um 2 Uhr 4ü Min. Nacht« wieder in Rathenow an. Der Distouzreiter legt« also die Strecke von 172'/, lein tu 22'/, Stunden zurück. Die Leistung ist um so auerkrunen-wettder, da da« Pferd, der sechsjährige ungarische Volldlut-Wallach „Moral- Fatzke", vollständig unvorbereitet zu einem solchen Ritt« war. Das Pserd befand sich nach Beendigung diese« Ritte« vollständig ans dem Posten. * In San Nemo an der Riviera ist am Sonntag der General A. von Kodolitsch, der hervorragend« österreichische SportSmanu, tasolgr eine« Gehirnjchlag« gestorben. vermischtes. --- Verlia, 18. Dccember. Dem VrrwaltungSdirector der CbaritS, Geh. Oderregierung-ratb Spinola, ist in diesen Tage» eine von sämmtlichrn Aerzten der Ebaritö und dem Direktor de« pathologischen Institut« Unterzeichnete Adresse überreicht worden, worin die Unlerzeickner ihr volle« Ver trauen zu der Amtsführung de« Herrn Spinola. sowie ihre Mißbilligung über die gegen ihn erhobenen Angriffe au«- drücken und die Hoffnung auSsprecken, daß er in seiner Stel lung au«harren werde. — Hoffentlich wird jetzt auch eine Widerlegung der Angriffe gegen die Ebaritü erfolgen. Mit vornehmem Schweigen oder einer einfachen .Miß billigung" kann man doch unmöglich dir Sache ablhun. — Verkitt, 18. December. Gemeinsam in den Tod gegangen ist am Sonnkag Morgen rin Berliner Liebes paar in Groß - Lichterfelde. Man sanv an der noch nicht bebauten Herwarthstraße hinter Strauchwerk dicht an dem Wasserlauf Bäke zwei Leichen neben einander, die einem jungen Mann und einem jungen Mädchen angehörten. Da« Letztere batte eine Schußivunde in der linken Schläfe, der Erstere eine solche in der Herzgegend. Zur rechten Seite de« Manne« lag ein Revolver, au- dem die beiden Schliffe adgeseuert waren. Au« bei dem Manne aufgesun- dencit Papieren gebt hervor, daß eS sich um den am 17. November 1869 zu Bischofsee geborenen Maschinen» bauarbeiter Friedrich Paschke handelt» der Weiden» weg 61 bei seinem Schwager, dem Schlächter Krüger, wohnte und erst am Sonnabend seine Entlassung au« der Maschinenbau-Aktiengesellschaft von H. F. Eckert ge nommen datle. Aus einen Zettel hatte er mit Blei die Worte geschrieben: .Den Revolver unk die Patronen bekommt mein Schwiegervater; vielleicht braucht er ihn noch. Vergnügte Feiertage. Unser letzter Wunsch ist, daß wir Beide zu sammen begraben werden!" Da» Mädchen ist dir am 2L. August 1873 geborene Tochter de« Memelerstraßr 46 wohnenden Schlosser« Iunick. Tie jungen Leute waren mit einander verlobt, bi« Paschke am Sonnabend vor acht Tagen einen Absagebrief von seiner Braut erhielt, mit der er sich übrrworsen hatte. Als er sich später bei ihren Eltern ein- fanb, wurde er hinauSzewiesen. Anna Iunick arbeitete für daS EonfectionSgeschätt von S. in der Königstraße. Al« sie dort am Montag Abend in einer Droschke sabrend ihre Waarr adliesern wollte, folgte ihr Paschte in einer ankeren. Zwischen dem Liebespaar kaui eine Versäbnung zu Stande. Da aber die Eltern der Brau« sich nicht umslimnieu ließen, wollte Paschke seine Braut nach Frankfurt a. O. bringe», wo seine Mutter lebt. Diese batte sich aber zur Ausnahme dcS Mädchens nicht willfährig gezeigt. Da beschlossen die jungen Leute, sich im Tode mil einander zu vereinen. Am Sonnabend Nachmittag verließen Beide ihre Wohnungen, Anna Iunick in ihrer besten Kleidung, Paschke, nachdem er vorder seine gesammke Habe veräußert hakte. Schon um 7 Uhr AbendS lies bei den Iunick'sckien Eheleuten die Nachricht ein, daß da« Paar gemeinsam sterben werde. — Berlin, 19. December. (Telegramm.) Der „Local- anzriger" rrsäbrt: Die Erzieherin in der Familie de« Kauf mann» Frietländer, welche bei OeffnungbeSanFriebländer gerichteten Packet« mit Exklosionsstoff verwundet wurde, erhielt einen Brief, worin eine weitere Lbnlichc Sendung au Friedläntrr in Au-sicht gestellt wird. Die Erzieherin wird vor der Oeffnung dieser Packete gewarnt. — Influenz«. Auf Anregung de-ReichSgesundheitS- a mte« wird gegenwärtig wieder in allen Bundesstaaten eine Erhebung über Umfang und Behandlung der Influenza vorgenommen Schon vor zwei Jahren wurden E»hedung«n hierüber veranstaltet. — Mslrbeu, 18. December. Da« hiesige .Tagebl." schreibt: »Zur Ergänzung unsere« letzten Berichte« au« den MauSfeldrr Erzrevieren lheilen wir noch mit, daß die viel- verdreitetr Meinung, nach der eine vollständige Absckließung der „Teufe" die Ursache de« sich gegenwärtig vollziehenden langsamen Slrigrn« de» Salzigen Sec« sei, irrig ist. Die Verbindung zwischen dem Hauplkheile de« See» und der „Teufe" ist noch vorhanden. Man hat, wie in früheren Fall«, Versetzungen der Verbindungswege zwischen See und Schacht (Schloten und Spalten) aazunebmea, und die Hebung de« Wasserspiegel« ist den Zuflüssen, welche die Weida liefert (rund lL—l6 odw in der Minute), ruzuschreibea, da der so sebr verkleinerte See deren Wirkung selbstverständ lich deutlicher erkennen läßt» al« die« bei dem gefüllten Wasserbecken früberer Zeiten möglich war. Der „gram) olä wnu" ist bekanntlich stet« sehr stolz aus seine rein schottische Abstammung gewesen. Aber selbst seinen stärksten Verehrern wirb e« neu sein, daß der greise Staatsmann von Niemand Geringerem abstammt, als von dem von Macbeth ermordeten schottischen König Duncan. Diese Kunde kommt ans dem schottischen Städtchen Dingwall, dem Geburtsort der Mutter Gladstoue'S, der de» Premier zum Ehrenbürger ernannt hat. Gladstonc stammt nämlich nur mütterlicherseits von Duncan. Dir Hochland-Familie Robertson — die Gladstonc« waren eine Unterland-Familie — ist nämlich eigentlich der Clau Donachie und dieser stammt von Duncan, durch den Sohn de« letzten keltischen Earl« von AtboU. Der Dingwaller Genealoge sagt sogar, daß Gladstonc nicht nur von der älteren Linie der schottischen Monarchen, sondern von den berühmtesten und mächtigsten alten keltischen Fürsten, den Lord« von Kinlail und Eilean Douan seine Herkunft adleiten könne. — Atzelaitze (Süd-Australien), 8. November. Die Ent deckung der reichen Goldfelder von Coolgardie (West-Australien) haben einen starken Zuzug dorthin au« allen Colonicn zur Folge gehabt; man zalilt bereit« an Ort und Stelle 7V0 Mann. Hierher zurückgekehrte „Diggers" geben glänzende Schilderungen de» neuentdrcklen Eldorados. Darnach soll Baylry« (dcS ersten Finder«) ursprüngliche Mine fast eine einzige Golbmafse, schwach mit Quarz durchsetzt unv in einer Tiefe von 70 Fuß noch eben so reich wie an der Oberfläche sein. Zum Thril liegt da- Gold zu Tage, und die Kosten der Gewinnung an sich sind äußerst gering. Die Regierung hatte von Perlh einen Beamten auSgesenkct, der die ganze Gegend zwischen Coolgardic und der Lunda- Bergkettr untersuchen sollte; der jetzt eingegangene Bericht desselben lautet äußerst günstig, da er überall goldhaltige Ouarzriffe augetroffen bat. Eoolgardie würde ein zweites Ballarat werden, wenn — e« Wasser hätte! Schon jetzt wird dieses 30 Meilen weil herangesahren und hat in Folge dessen einen sabcldaften Preis. Treten nicht bald starke Regen ei», so müssen sämmtliche Goldgräber da« Feld verlassen. Ein Bohrversuch, der von der Regierung angestellt wurde, er gab zwar Wasser, aber völlig falzigeS, und ein gleiche« Er- gedniß batten die Versuche der dortigen Minen - Eompagnie. Ob unter diesen Umständen eine von hier aus dorthin ge sendete Expedition von Goldsuchern, mit 1V kräftigen Kameclcn und vorzüglicher Ausrüstung versehen, Erfolg haben wird, ist sebr die Frage. Von allen Seiten kommen bereits dringende Warnungen. Eine Anzahl von Goldgräbern, die trotz aller Abmachungen ein neue« Feld aufsuchtcn, soll einem trostlosen Schicksal verfallen sein: c« wird berichtet, daß zwei von ihnen bereit» verschmachtet und die übrigen dem Wahnsinne nahe sein sollen. Von Southern Eroß ist eine Anzahl mit Wasser beladener Kameele au-gesanvl worden, um, wenn möglich, die Unglücklichen zu retten. Einen der größten „Nuggets", dir je in Süd-Australien gefunden wurden, brachte am l. d. M. ein glücklicher Digger auf dem Angipena - Goldfclde an« Tageslicht. ES wurde im Golden Gully in der geringen Tiefe vou fünf Fuß gefunden, wiegt über 16 Unzen und hat einen ungefähren Werth von 1300 (Voss. Ztg.) Literatur.
