Yesterday morning His Majesty the Emperor, with his suite, arrived at Waterloo Station, London from where he drove in a royal carriage to Buckingham Palace, and took breakfast with King Edward. The public cheered the Emperor with undimimshed heartiness. (DINIZULU ARRESTED. A Pietermaritzburg report says that the Chief Dinizulu surrendered himself without any re sistance to Colonel Clark. This report has not yet been confirmed. THE BENI SNASSEN SUBMIT. ** * s reported from Oran that emissaries from the Beni Snassen have offered the tribe’s sub mission to General Lyautey. Fraulein Helene Staegemann will sing German Danish, Swedish, Russian, and French folk-songs at the concert which she is to give in the Mozart Saal on Thursday next December 12, at 8 o’clock. After a long absence, Bronislaw Hubermann will give his this winter’s concert in the Mozart Saal on Wednesday the 8th of January, 1908, with the Mozart Orchestra. At the Lortzing Theatre the rehearsals for the first performance of Mozart’s opera “Die Zauber- flote” which is to take place on the 18 th instant, are in full progress. We are further informed by the Management that “Der Trompeter von Sak- kingen” is at the same time busily in hand, and that it will probably be produced for the first time on the day after Christmas Day. “Zauberflote” will be given on Christmas Day. The arrangements for this week are: This evening, “Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor”. Tomorrow, Wednesday, at 3.30 p.m., “Rumpel- stilzchen”; at 8 p.m., “Rigoletto”. On Thursday, “Der Freischxitz”.
