Two exceed- ingly charming Italian landscapes in colour introduce the series and with a purpose. These two pictures, namely, are intended to preclude any possible misapprehension and to show that Erna Schmidt-Caroll does not narrow her activity to any one particular branch of art but is a Creative artist of a high order as is further evidenced by her paintings and graphic work which should be appreciated and evalued from this standpoint only.
